CASHIER 

  • Cashing out customers in a friendly manner while maintaining accuracy of your float and efficiency of your service;

  • Understanding and following cash out policy and procedures;

  • Receiving and stocking products while ensuring proper rotation;

  • Facing and filling product at front end to ensure our store is always looking it’s best;

  • Keeping the tills and cash area clean and supplies stocked;

  • Completing date-checks to ensure close-dated items are removed from shelves;

  • Cleaning

GROCERY CLERK

  • Receiving and stocking products while ensuring proper rotation;

  • Acting as cashier back up to serve waiting customers when needed;

  • Completing date-checks to ensure close-dated items are removed from shelves;

  • Facing product to ensure our store is always looking it’s best;

  • Responding to customer service calls etc

 

 DELI & BAKERY CLERK 

  • Serving customers at the deli slicer, hot case and cold case

  • Preparing deli & bakery items for the day (ie. breads, buns, sandwiches, wraps, salads, chicken pot pies, etc)

  • Filling deli/bakery department with product as necessary (ie. Backstock from cooler/freezer)

  • Receiving orders and putting them on retail floor or rotating properly in cooler/freezer

  • Baking off, slicing, bagging and tagging all bread, buns and treats for the day

  • Preparing bread and buns for break out

  • Recording daily inventory, shrink and production sheets

  • Date checking product and rotating to ensure quality

  • Filling supplies as needed

  • Washing dishes and keeping workspace clean

 

 MEAT CLERK 

  • Preparing, wrapping, and labeling a variety of fresh meat cuts;

  • Ensuring shelves and displays are fully stocked and well presented;

  • Responding promptly and professionally to customer inquiries;

  • Cleaning retail areas and workspaces on a daily basis.

A successful employee will be: upbeat and motivated to support the team; service-oriented, and comfortable talking to customers; hardworking and a good team player; capable of lifting up to 50 lbs; and willing and physically capable of standing on his/her feet in a cold environment.

 PRODUCE CLERK 

  • Receiving orders as invoiced and rotating properly in cooler.

  • Culling Produce Cases/Displays to maintain freshness and recording shrink.

  • Preparing value-added products for the day (spiralized veggies, cut fruit, fresh juices, veggie platters, veggie mixes).

  • Filling Produce cases/displays department as necessary

  • Cleaning Produce cases/displays

  • Performing end of day clean up

A successful employee will be: upbeat and motivated to support the team; service-oriented, and comfortable talking to customers; hardworking and a good team player; capable of lifting up to 50 lbs; and willing and physically capable of standing on his/her feet in a cold environment.
