our Community

Community is the spirit of every town - but especially here in Revelstoke.

Whether it is improving food security or sponsoring a local team, we are committed to making Revelstoke an even better place to live, work and play! We are proud to be a part of Revy through our partnerships, sponsorships and donations.

FOOD SECURITY

Adequate food security is an ongoing battle for many communities and families throughout Canada. As a major part of the food ecosystem within Revy, it is our responsibility to ensure access to healthy and affordable food. Improving food security is part of our business model, where we do our very best to keep food prices low through regular competitive pricing and awesome sales for our customers.

Another way we're working to improve food security is by funding the breakfast program at Columbia Park Elementary (CPE) school. It's amazing what kids can do when they're fully fuelled for a day of learning and fun! Since 2016, we've donated a wholesome breakfast for all students at CPE. And thanks to all the hard work of the volunteering parents and teachers, this program has grown from 1 day a week to 5 days a week.

We also work in partnership with the Food Recovery Program through Community Connections Revelstoke to reduce food waste. Any food that cannot be sold from our store is donated every week to the Food Recovery Program to be made available to families in need. LOCAL PARTNERSHIPs

As a small local business, we support local businesses by selling their products!

We partner with Frisby Ridge Teriyaki Restaurant, a local favourite since 1999, to bring the best sushi possible for our customers. Fresh sushi is made every day by Frisby Ridge and made available in our deli for your convenience! To learn more about the rest of Frisby Ridge's delicious menu, visit them here.

We also partner with Stoke the Fire, a local grower and producer of hot peppers and sauces. Their fiery hot sauces are available all year round in our store! For more info, check them out here.

Other local entrepreneurs and products from BC that we support include: Stoke Roasted Coffee and First Light Farms from Revelstoke, D Dutchman Dairy from Sicamous, Madalea Growers Blueberry Farm from Mara, Fresh is Best Salsa from Kamloops, and Naam Sauces from Vancouver - to name a few.
